The Reckoning
The Reckoning is the first Resist track and lead single of the latest Within Temptation record. I thought to edit a little bit the capture from the official music video of Sharon den Adel with some red tears so it could reflect the lyrics on the left that are actually part of the chorus. I used red also for the lips (originally they have a nude colour) so it could be linked to the tears. The copper sign on the back of the lyrics is the logo of Resist era. What I used: ▶Staedtler Noris HB pencil for the sketch ▶Derwent pencils (Artists, Watercolour, Studio, Sketching) for the face and the foggy background ▶BIC Intensity for eyes and mouth details + lyrics ▶ Winsor&Newton watercolors for the hair + Derwent Watercolour pencil ▶ Brera acrylics for frame, lips and copper logo
