This one actually took something like more than 45 hours and the subjects is taken from the Tasso's XVII century poem "Jerusalem delivered". Armida is a witch that uses lust to hypnotize the christian soldiers distracting them from the conquer of Jerusalem. The Garden itself (where Armida's live) is described as witchered, with optical illusions and full of "artificial" plants and fruits. I filled up the drawing with symbols of the baroque age, such as watches, bones and skulls for the theme of death and vanity of life, mirrors that reflects illusory landscapes and of course a remark of the theme of the sexuality.
